As COVID-19 first hit in March, we were in the final stages of preparing our first collection for 2020, a series of sophisticated basics to transition from work to home. We paused the collection release, closed our three retail stores and focused on creating a stable base for our company.
With three retail stores worth of inventory produced, releasing our new collection felt unnecessary and wasteful. We transitioned into producing masks and we’ve managed to move through the last few months of change with reduced operations. As the circumstances have unfolded we’re experiencing demand for reliable pieces for the work-from-home lifestyle that so many people in our community have moved into.
We’ve condensed our planned collection to release new tops to pair with our seasonless items, or for you to style at home with your favourite jeans and work pants. The new Striped Sweater, the feature piece of the collection is made in the cosiest fabric we’ve sourced so far. Featuring a beautiful subtle stripe, the mid-weight fabric will allow you to wear it at home with jeans or sweatpants, or layer it under a coat to head outside. For our friends in the northern hemisphere, it will make a perfect autumn throw over.
The considered details in the new pieces enhance everyday basicwear. The oversized turtleneck on the sweater provides a subtle feature and the modern neckline on the staple t-shirt creates a sophisticated line. We’ve featured sand, a new neutral that perfectly pairs with a monochrome outfit or bold patterned bottoms.
As always, we’ve produced these pieces in soft, high quality cotton for ultimate comfort. We know you will love them as much as we do.
